This month has been a blur. Wynn came one month ago. She has been such a blessing and the boys have really done well accepting her and welcoming her home.
So...How are we doing? This seems to be the question that everyone wants to know. I'll be honest...its hard! And we are adjusting as best we can, but we have been in survival mode. I'm really not sure how we have done everything that needed to be done for all three of our kids this month, but we have with the help of family and friends and without a lot of sleep!:)
But as quickly as this month has gone there have been some things that I want to make sure that I remember about Wynn:
- She wore newborn clothes and diapers for a solid 3 weeks, which is much longer than her brothers. In fact she just moved into a size 1 diaper and has just moved up to 3 month onesies.
- She likes to sleep in her bouncy seat at night right beside my side of the bed, but her favorite spot to sleep is snuggled up next to me!
- She likes her swing and has taken several naps in it and she also likes it when I put her in the sling around my shoulder. But she LOVES to be held (so did her older brother Luke)!
- She had her first bath at 2 &1/2 weeks old. It was the same day as her 2 week dr.'s appointment and that her umbilical cord fell off. She could take it or leave it, but at least she didn't scream!
- She has been to the beach twice.
- She has been to 5 of her brother's soccer games, in fact she went to her first at 3 days old.
- She has been to Target, Publix, the outlet mall, Monkey Joe's and several restaurants. I say all of this because never in my wildest dreams would I have taken Will out this early. I took Luke out to do a few things but not until he was 5 days old. And he did not go to the beach until he was 3 months old. Obviously we have loosened up with our 3rd child!
- She is fussy at night, not sure why, but usually between 8:30 and 11:00 she is crying off and on.
- She naps best in the morning.
- She is a delight and we all adore her!
